Show off your Water hunting rig boys!

Here is mine when I bought it last January, its a 17' Crestliner with a Johnson 2 stroke 40 on it.

I added all new grass to it and if you notice the shiney aluminum bars, they were my idea to push the blind out and off the hunters for more internal room, they latch on in about 3 seconds a piece and I'll end up running with 6 down each side.

My daughter actually helping me with something, I guess she thought this was more fun that pooper scooping the yard or cutting the grass for me.

And here it is on its maiden hunt with me as the owner. As you can see, it caves in a bit, we only had 2 aluminum supports per side last night, more will be made tonight when I get home and it will look sooo much better.

I do have a single question for others with similar setups, my grass isnt dipped into the water, is this going to be of any major concern or should I not even worry about it?

Yep, moves a heavy little welded boat with rather admirable gusto. Dogleg and I climbed some fairly gnarly sections of coastal river with it and it hums along just swell, climbed stuff I didn't think a 50/35 could. You can visibly see the slope in the rivers like a ramp here, kind of neat, and it rips right up it carry two guys and 200L of fuel. Mine has already pumped its share of gravel as well.

Steps 1 & 2 of operation "duck boat light bright" complete. Just have to powder coat the aluminum bracket dull matte green, Mount it to the front of the boat and wire it up. Should be great in the early hours on the way out or the late hours coming back in!

And steps 3 and 4. Powder coater didn't have the green I wanted so we went with a textured black. Got it all installed and wired up ready to go.

Not a good view of the boat, but down below is a Scott 16' Deep Duck Boat... I built the folding collapsible frame out of 1" square aluminum tubing, and used burlap backed with canvas and painted with a reed camo... works good.

I'll have to see if I can find any pics of mine. A 165 alumacraft camp boat modifed for ducks, and a very old 14' alumacraft fly-in boat I used for years with a 15 Yamaha to get into tight spots. All the rest is done with a 17' Grumman canoe!!!

I live the pics guys!! Keep them coming!!

Awesome setup and love those lights....where did you get them and how much.....thanks
