Shouldn't put that Varner favourite up there ,it's temping me above what I can bear,my own 'favourite ' is a Husqvarna rolling block made in the late 1800's chambered in 22 short....last purchase is a 1906 Remington RB that needs a good cleaning and restoration

I'll have to dig out my Stevens 44. Really shoots.
Also have a BSA Martini Mark II. First rifle with which I shot a 1 moa group at 100y. With the irons. That was over 50 years ago...

H & R 5200 with Redfield sights at $350 CDN. The rear sight is a "Palma" and it weighs 12 3/8's pounds

BSA Martini Int'l Mk II. Shown with a Leupold 36X BR but I do have two set of Parker Hale sights which it is currently wearing. With the Target sights it weighs 13 3/4 pounds and with a scope qualified in the 1/2" challenge. The challenge for 2018 is to shoot the challenge with target sights . . . close in 2017 but no cigar!

A simple description would help . . . not that the upside-down BSA was unrecognizable but some of the pictures could use a few words.

And a Remington 40XB with a Lilja barrel smithed by Dennis with an Eley Match chamber.

If it is mine in need of description, the older is an Anschutz 1408 that has dovetails only on the rear of the receiver and a slightly longer and slimmer barrel than on the much more often seen 1407 model. The newer is a 54.30 which just arrived.

I really like the Anschutz 54.30, and the Winchester 1885 is nice as well.
I have an Eatonia model 39 that my dad, & grandfather went in on when my father was 12 in 1960.
Dad paid $2.00, & Grampie paid $3.00.
Dad had the stock and barrel refinished by San Adams gunsmith approximately 15 years ago.
Using it, I have shown the joys of shooting to a few young people so far. I hope there will be more.

Tula MЦ-12, a real joy to shoot. The barrel on this thing is a truck axle.
