I bought a full wood and bedded Brit #4mk1 that was converted by CAL into a .308; also bought a numbers matching US Property chromed #4mk1*
Both were at very reasonable prices.

Also picked up a M1 carbine bayonet for $25, and a minty FN C1 bayonet. Lastly, I gave a deposit on a matching Inglis mk2 Bren which the seller will bring out to me next year.

It was a very good show....I go to several on the prairies each year, and this is hands down the best. Not sure how they will be able to expand the show in the future, since they have now filled the entire room with tables. It just keeps getting bigger and better.

Ho much was the MG42 bolt and butt. If you don't mind me asking? That's a nice find, not sure but it looks like you found some MP40 mags (that's what they look like to me but I might be wrong) :slap:

I see one of the current made MG42/MG3 converters to the MG-3 AA tripod. Butt looks Yugo SARAC M-53 by the wood colour and MG bolt is a SARAC M-53 ... close ???

Two S&W M&P's, one pre victory 6" and one victory 5". Will have to fix up the finish on one of them, but she'll be perfect for knocking over pins and in the display case.

Picked up a few books too; Ross Rifle Story, Inglis Diamond, a Snider-Enfield book, and this book on "Volkstrum" weapon production in late '44 and '45 (neat stuff).
Was going to pick up that Dillon 650 under one of the guys tables but some lucky guy walked off with it just as I was getting there.

Congrats on the bayonets Stencollector. I am trying to get one of each type of Canadian issue bayonets and have from the Boer war to 43 and a M1 and FN would get me from the Korean war (Canadians used a lot of US equipment especially the M1) to the cold war.

I never seem to make it to the shows which is also probably why I am not a homeless guy with a shopping cart full of obsolete ordnance.
