44 mag take down.

My next Skinner order will include a barrel mount peep for it. Still debating if I will replace the front sight if I don't need to for the peep.

This is the only one I find attractive.

You should either double side the raw leather or stain it to match... looks good... Western.

Aesthetically that would look good, but you shouldn’t have your firearms sitting against stones leather. The same reason why you don’t line the interior of a holster with suede.

That sure looks nice but I don't know how you can stand the weight of it on a belt for any length of time, I know I sure couldn't. Plus I think the tie down would rub my leg raw if I did any hiking in it but to each their own.

It’s got some novelty factor for sure. The scabbard was the original plan, to protect the gun in the truck. But thought, what the heck, might as well go for the belt while I am at it. With the lined belt it’s sturdy and in place, it handles the weight well and small hikes are no problem. Great for taking the pups for a walk or out picking blueberries. My ATC doesn’t cover either of those activities, so I would say it’s 100% functional. At least when compared to 99% of the restricteds in this country.
