Let us know how it runs. I didn't know the polymer CSA one would work with 7.62. Thought it only worked on the 5.56. I have that same adapter on my 7.5" 5.56 and it works flawlessly with the grey pistol mags.

I have the same magwell adapter but took it out because it doesn't hold the bolt open on the last round. The tab for the bolt hold open is too small and the follower just jumps over it. If it doesn't, the follower eventually wears out and no longer holds the bolt open. Some magazines won't insert unless the bolt is open. Which is ultra annoying because the magazines won't hold the bolt open on the last round.
How do you mean installed the other way around? Details!!!
You can install the adapter the regular way, same way LAR mags are connected, but in this case the angle will be weird and ugly. What I did it's just reversed the angle of the coupler. You have to remove the stopping tabs in this case and put some epoxy on adapters groves to prevent it from moving.
Know what you mean. Looks like someone ran over it when you install the coupler as intended, jagged ugly sharp angle, little awkward to flip and jam in the magwell straight during a reload. I think ds designs or something (cgn'er) 3d prints mag extensions for lar and xcr pistol mags as well, would be another alternative to the mag wedge coupler. Would work well in chest rig pouches too.
