SIde Saddle installation

Does a side saddle install the same on a Mossberg 590 the same way as it installs on a rem 870...IE remove trigger group pins and install bolts supplied with side saddle ?

no on the 590 the front bolt actually replaces an internal bolt /screw that holds the ejector / extractor in place.... a little more of a pain in the ass then installing one for a remington.

make sure to get that front one down tight and then locktight the #### out of it..... I have seen them loosen up fairly quickly. the back bolt is fine, it works the same as the remington.
