Can anyone recomend a starting load for a 142gr HPBT 6.5 x 55 using 4064?

There's 142 grain data on Hodgdon's site. 35.0(2416fps) to 38.0(2574fps).

I can't because that powder is very fast for that caliber. The fastestpowder I use is 4350. Standard powder is RL22, H4831SC and H1000.

Give N560 or 165 a try

They worked stellar for me in my old swede

I might group well if you can deal without getting the FPS you should be getting out of a proper slow burning powder.
