Sierra 6 Reloading Manual question

Sierra 6 is out in both hardcover and an app.

Can't find a hardcover yet in Canada and my phone is too old for the app (sigh)....


If anyone has bought/downloaded it can you tell me if the #1755 150 grain Sierra bullet has load data listed in the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser section.


I got a box of these high BC bullets when they first came out but there has been no data available for them except for 6.5 Creedmoor (Sierra updated that on their site for the Sierra V manual).

I've contacted them via email regarding the twist rate specs for that bullet but at the time (before the new manual came out) they had no load data for it in 6.5x55

You would be close by using the Hornady 147 gr load data. Load data from manuals will be lower pressure loads due to older firearms chambered in 6.5x55. Not sure if that is the case with your rifle or not...

New Tikka T3x action, I was going to use the 147gr data if Sierra had not tested the 1755's in that calibre yet - thanks. They may or may not stabilize in my barrel with the 1:8 twist anyway (according to Sierra), but I need to start somewhere.
