Has anyone else tried this bullet I tried it in my new 6.5CM yesterday, and although I haven't fine tuned the load yet, accuracy has been very good. When seated to the lands, the Gamechnger still has full case neck/ bullet shank contact, I had to seat the Accubond LR .100" off of the lands, to maintain .200" of bullet shank in the neck . And at less than $50/100 the Gamechanger is affordable .

I have the 6mm 90gr, 6.5 130, 7mm 165's & 30cal 165's, have shot all but the 6mm version.
In my 6.5cm (Tikka CTR) the 130gr TGK over RL16 & RL17 is giving good accuracy. Have only shot them at 100 yards but my last trip out with RL17 produced a half moa 5 shot group
The 7mm 165's are being used in my 280 Ackley (Defiance/Benchmark). I am using Accurate Magpro, have only tried two different charge weighs but both have given me a .75moa 5 shot group, again at 100y. I have a dozen loaded up and hope to try them at 300y next trip out
The 30cal 165's are loaded into my 308 Win (Ruger m77 Scout) and first and only attempt so far provided an ugly 2moa 5 shot group. The scope was a 2.5x so that is never ideal for load development, but the rifle often shoots 1moa...more testing to be done!
I think they're going to prove to be a little tougher version of an ELDx. I love the ELD's but they're a bit "aggressive" on impact for my tastes, especially on larger game like elk or moose.

Sierra is finally producing a tougher bullet for hunting - but it still isn't bonded. Sierra bullets are notorious for core separation at close ranges. When hunting, not all shots are taken at extended ranges. I love Sierra accuracy, but I think they missed the boat on this one.
I wouldn't be using them in my 7mmstw, but with a muzzle velocity of 2700 to 2800fps, I am hoping that they would hold together reasonably well.
I like Sierra stuff too for punching paper and these game changers have caught my attention.
I got away from cup and core for hunting after the what i thought was also too "aggressive" bullets from Hornady. My son harvested two deer this year using c and c...i came across a great clearance sale for some silver tips in the right weight and i couldn't help myself and had to try them out.
After his success and bullet performance, i am following along with interest.

I did a pressure test with some in my 7mm-08. Stopped st 2814fps as poker pockets were starting to loosen. Node looks to be around 2750. Have yet to make it back to the range to try though. The bearing surface is fairly long on these though compared to the hornady line.
Quite a difference from the Sierra numbers.

I tried R-17, and shot this five shot group today at 110 yards, since our range is metric. It measures .355" center to center.

I was reading on a different forum that sierra said the 6mm 90 gr had a .430 bc from a 1 in 10 twist. to get the advertised bc you need a faster twist. there barely stable in a 10.
