I just snagged a box of these in .30cal 180gr. Having a really hard time finding any accubonds and the sierra's seem to be more available. I'm not sure they will have accubond performance but should still be a good bullet out of a 300wsm. Has anyone had and results from harvesting elk or moose with them?

I had a hard time finding 180gr game bullets this past season. I also found a box of the 180gr Sierra Tipped Gamechangers and a box of the Hornady 180gr CX. I couldn't get the CX to group at all. The Sierras would hold 1 MOA at 2950fps out of my 300WinMag. I had eyes on one bull elk for a few seconds but was unable to take a shot at him, so no actual harvesting results. I haven't deer hunted in a few years but always used 180 Gamekings in my 308 with excellent results.

Arnt they compared to ELDX rather than Accubond?

the TGK is definitely more robust than the ELDx. I haven't killed with them, but good accuracy in the ones I've shot so far.

22cal 64gr in 223, 90gr & 100gr in 6mm Creed, 130gr in 6.5cm & 6.5 PRC, 140gr in 260 Rem, 7mm 150gr & 165gr in 280AI, 30cal 165gr in 308win

Here's a couple 6.5mm 130gr TGK recovered from deer (6.5cm) from CGN hall of famer, 280_Ackley

Couldn’t find any 180 Accubond or 190 Accubond LR for my new WSM. I bought 200 ELD-X (also doubles as target bullet) and Barnes 175 LRX.

Nothing wrong with those ! JMO RJ

Have harvested many mule and whitetail with a 6mm AI and a 90 gr TGK @3500 FPS, all were down on the spot except one that went 20 yards. Also take dozens of coyotes and one antelope. I'd have no issue using them on a 30 cal. Easy to load and tune.

Oh wow thanks for that photo, that looks great. I plan to load some up for the 300wsm and with any luck I will be able to test on moose this fall.

I'm running the 90gr Tipped Game king at 3410fps out of my 243 Ackley.
The 2 deer and 2 antelope I've shot with it didnt complain at all.

My assumption is that the 180gr 30 cal will also be a very good bullet, though not as tough as an Accubond.

Well I got some load development done with the tipped gameking, load development might be a stretch because the first 3 powder charges I tested all produced sub moa groups with H4350. I am not sure why but my old nosler accubond load is shooting piss poor out of this rifle, I used to have excellent groups and now it seems to not like them, maybe I got a bad box or something but it is strange. Anyway I will be loading the 180 tipped gameking for moose hunting this fall.
