Thanks MTLGUN, I bit the bullet paid for the slide had it checked out and then sold it ... but it soured me on "pot metal" forever.

I'm not a fan of them.. AKA Mosquito is a brother..

Mosquito's are junk, one I shot kept jamming every other round and that was with mini-mags (recommended ammo). I had my GSG for a couple of years now and it's been great reliability wise. If I have a stoppage it's are due to a dud 99% of the time. Always enjoy shooting that gun, but it does feel cheap tho, bb gun-ish for sure.

Browning 1911-22 is a much more solid little pistol.
