So I have a 1911 tac pac I was thinking of doing a few upgrades on. Overall the gun is pretty solid. I was thinking best bang for buck would be to upgrade mag well and sights.

Is there anything else worth while? Curious if there was anything else people think could be worth while.

These Sig 1911s a pretty solid as is. I have a similar one and I added a Ed Brown backstrap/mag well. I have been meading to get a WC extended slide release but have never gotten around to it. That is the one thing I think would be worth it.

Brownells sells a shim to remove SIG's version of the series 80 safety. Installing that and removing the slide parts that used to interact with it really helped the trigger pull.

The increased magwell make a big difference? I'm looking at the stan chen one.

I'm a fan of the integrated magwell similar to the Stan Chen, not because I need quick mag changes but because I like the extra grip surface.

Have you considered swapping out the hammer and sear? I found the stock parts in my Sig 1911 XO to be of lower quality (I was getting hammer-follow after about 500 rounds). I replaced them with EGW parts and never looked back. Better trigger response (lighter and crisper) and much better durability. Not super expensive and produces a great result. Otherwise, I'd say a mag well, sights, and different safety. Those will improve the functionality of the pistol and give you some minor cosmetic tweaks.

Brownells might have a whole trigger group that you can drop in. It's worth a look - it'll save you having to fit any new internal parts.

But your Sig looks great, all blacked out.. Keep that going!
