Going to pay off the hold on my Sig 2022 next week. :runaway: I've had a chance to fire it at TSE. Which prompted the purchase. I just thought a sig should be my first pistol. I only put 50 rounds through the rental, so i am not familiar with it's true behaviour. Anything i should know, from experience?

Also, i've been putzing around looking for parts kits, springs and such. I got a place for mags and barrels. But grips, springs are looking harder to come by.

Anyone have much succsess finding parts?

I'm not really sure what the difference between 2022 and 2009 and 2340 is, but I would be very surprised if there aren't a number of common parts. The gun I mainly shoot is the 229, and I am still surpised at how many of the parts are common with the 228.

I read that the 2022 was called that, because the french were going to use it for 22 years. I haven't earned my gunny status yet, so i can't say what internals are different from the other pro models.

Read on a sig site that the mags from the 229 will fit the 2022 as well.

$790 at TSE, i ended up getting it from PnD, $750 at PD, $780 with shipping. Could have just went with TSE, but i just feel like every time i go in there i am treated like just another scum bag trying to "look" cool, so to have an alberta alternative and save the $10, can't beat it.
I just went to tse to fire a few different ones before i commited on what i was going to get. For the $800 price range it just felt better than the others. I wanted some thing i could beat around, depend on. And at the end of the day stand up to some serious round counts. It came down to a G17 and th sig, sig won out in the end, but i will also be getting that glock one day here. Need to get them restricteds before libs get in and ban em on me.
