Not sure who needs to see this. If I had not just bought this exact gun from Tenda back in August I would have bought this one. I'm surprised it has been for sale for a few days on their website.

Hopefully someone gets it before the ban.

Tempted, but $3k. Damn. Already have two p226's. Don't think I can justify a p220. Can I put my 9 mm p226 RXP Legion slide on this thing and have a 10 mm optics ready gun? I doubt the 10 mm barrel would clear, but if it did... that might change my mind. <Edit> Google says no. Oh well.

Considering what everything else is going for, and that these retailed between 2350-2500 depending on the store, 3K is not too bad. Sig P220 10mms are outstanding and bombproof.

How's the recoil on these things? Never experienced 10 mm. Does the novelty wear off fast and your hand just get sore, or do they remain fun to shoot? How's the return to target compared with 9 mm?

There is a wide range of ammo strengths available - part of the appeal. 40 S&W level stuff is very manageable for long sessions. Most people reload so you can tailor the loads to your personal preferences. The P220 comes in around 44 ounces so that helps soak up the recoil as well. I like the 10mm because it is fun to shoot the heavier stuff too.

This is insane.
Yes - SIG makes good stuff.
But the Legion series is an actual joke. They designed the controls to be extra small to be as concealed-carry-friendly as possible making the controls actually difficult to reach and use unless you train yourself to do so. Also, almost every single Legion owner has reported that the finish scratches and wears faster than any other finish that SIG has produced to date. So your nice expensive gun gets scratches and ghost lines on it after just a few range trips.

So to anyone that's desperate for a name tag, as a huge SIG fan, yes. You can trust this gun will work. It will look cool new or used. It will feel like it was made by someone who actually cares about weapon design.

It's 100% not worth $3k though.
I wouldn't even pay half that brand new off the shelf. I'm kind of surprised Tiger Arms is asking that much for it.

Lol. Brettzky you are lacking significant knowledge on this one.

I don't like the gimmicky Legion marketing but they definitely have upgrades like the triggers (Gray Guns), tritium night sights, and ship with 3 mags not 2. The new Legions - which this one is - have a harder Cerakote finish which addresses the previous problem - they addressed this a few years ago, if you'd been keeping up.

The 10mm P220s have always fetched a good $500-700 more that the 9mm/45 versions because of the development that went into them and they are way over built. Because the 10mms are rarer and typically in higher demand, dealers never discounted them like the 9mms which flooded the market. This one has 20% premium which is totally reasonable considering the mark ups happening right now.

Brother you are hypocritical when it comes to pricing. Didn't you have a $5K tag on you Wilson Combat Beretta which retailed for $2K, and you are listing a Shadow Systems MR920L for $3K on EE. Many would say that is insane giving the number of Shadow Systems still available at retailers between $1500 and $1700. For the same price, this Sig 10mm is twice the gun with twice the cool factor.

It is unfair of you to call out retailers on this site, when you need to be called out.

^^^^. Drops Mic and walks away. LOL

Lol you guys missed the point entirely. *rabble rabble pitchforks and tears*. I'm not calling anyone out. That's not what just happened there. I don't have a vendetta against anyone, LOL. Yep, I've made a few bucks selling a few guns in the last 6 months. All 6 of those people are extremely happy with what they got too. You guys need to take your Karen attitudes to management and fill out a hurt feelings report.

I don't care about the Legion at any price, and am certainly not crying or disappointed, as I have never wanted that gun.

There are a lot of brand new first time buyers on here that don't have the experience to know the Legion has a ####ty quality finish that scratches easily, or that the controls aren't user friendly. Cerakote also scratches and wears out. It isn't much of an upgrade over the PVD. It's a bandaid fix that SIG had to backpedal on to keep it looking the same as the original. That was the point.

Ya I think we all understood your point. It wasn't complicated, just ill-informed. I countered your erroneous and outdated claims about the Legion finish and simply put your comment about insane cost in the proper context, so others could weigh your opinion appropriately.

And I'm not seeing 'pitch forks' 'vendettas' and 'Karen attitudes' (that is a bit dramatic and no one cares that much), it is more like a lack of respect

Should I go back and link your posts about you hyping the 226 Legion when you bought one? You know, the one you wrote absolutely glowing reviews about despite not having pulled the trigger (colour me shocked) and tried to sell for $3500?

You’re right in saying the others missed the mark when they called you a big mouth scalper. They should have correctly defined you as a liar.

That 220 is worth more than any of the guns you’ve listed $3k and over in the past few months.
