P226 is my second favourite DA/SA pistol, they're great guns...SS model looks awsome.

I shoot a sig 226st in production and use a Cr Speed holster, belt ,and mag pouches

I also have a SIG 226 st in 9mm. My favorite gun by far. If you are going to compete in IPSC at higher levels, you might want to consider the X-five.

for all pratical purposes I'm a new shooter. I purchased the sig with the hopes that it would be enough to get me started to see how I like pistol sport. I figured depending on how much i like it I can then determine better what works and what doesn't work for me. I was just worried that I'd be showing up at the shooting line with a pinto while everyone else is racing Ferarri's.
