Hi All,

Can anyone out there answer this question for me? I've heard mixed reviews and confusing information at best LOL:bangHead:

Are Sig 226 factory and after market mags useable in the NP22? I'd like to know before I make a purchase. I've been told yes by some people. Others have said only the original (old school German sig) mags will work.

Please help? :D

??? I have both the P226 and the newer NP22 (so can't comment on the old non-railed NP22)...mags fit both without issue. I have factory Sig mags, mecgar and the ones that came with the NP22...all 3 makes can interchange on my 2 handguns. Now with that said...the mecgars are by far the nicest...I recommend them.

Sorry...Marstar would have been what I would have recommended. I got most of mine off the EE. However, there is a place down south I'm hearing about (from another thread on CGN where the place pins hy cap mags and can send them northward). I haven't used them and I can't type the name as it shows up as ****** if I try. The thread is here: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=671956

any specific www in particular you can buy them besides marstar as they are unfortunately sold out...

I have sig germany 10 round, mec gar 10 round, and norinco 10/15 round mags.

The norinco mags are easiest to load and seat on a closed slide because of the extra room.

The sig originals and mec gars are on par.

If you want some mec gars, I have 2 that I will sell. They are not used (except inserted in gun to test). I see you are from toronto, so we can meet somewhere in the GTA if you want them both for $80.
