So I bought some used mags online from wolverine supply and I need a a bit of info on spring length on the .357/40 cal versions.
I have the .40 cal mags on the top of this picture: there are 9mm versions on the bottom.

were these springs cut? and will this cause problems feeding? I guess ill find out when I go to the range in any case. just needs to warm up a little bit.

Have you tried putting all 10 rounds in one? How easy were the last couple rounds to get in? .40 cal rounds are larger in diameter so the spring might be shorter to accommodate the extra space required for the rounds. The springs dont look altered, they just have less coils than your 9mm springs. Being that they are used they could also just be slightly compressed, only way you'll know if they work well is by trying them though.

I had similar thoughts. I was hoping someone who owned the same mags would be able to tell me for sure if they are or not cut
