hey everyone! I have a sig 226 and my friend just got the norinco copy! I'm not sure if theres already a thread on this but here we go!
I find the norinco model has more of a lose slide where as the sig is like cutting butter with a warm knife! I mean like when I shot my sig for the first time I nearly broke out into a song and dance (Im all out of love, I'm so lost without you!) something like that! !hehe I was amazed with how smooth the action of the sig was but if money is an issue then go for the norinco model! the finish isn't as nice but its still a great pistol! I paid about $1000 for my sig and my friends norinco copy was about $400 at a local shop! I had my AR 15 at the range with no sights one day and my friend put ballons at about 100 yards and I told her my AR 15 had no sights and it would be really difficult to hit those with a pistol! so anyway i decided to try anyways with my Sig 226! first shot the ballon popped! I thought it was just luck but I shot at the next ballon also at 100 yards but i missed! the second shot tho nailed it! I don't shoot a lot but the fact that I was able to hit the 2 ballons showed me that the Sig is also very accurate! Altho I find the Sig model amazing the $ difference is more towards the norinco model! Its a good 9mm starter gun tho!thats just my opinion tho! So in conclusion I don't think the Quality difference is worth the extra few hundred dollars! but if your looking to get a 226 and want the best then i recommend the Sig! Happy shooting everyone!
