How do you clean Sig mags? I attempted to take them apart, I got the mag floorplate off, but couldn't get the floorplate insert (metal) to come out of the mag tube.... any suggestion or web advice would be great.
Press the metal plate upwards and rotate the front edge towards the back of the magazine. Once it is parallel to the back of the magazine it will slide out past the retention lips at the bottom of the magazine. Just reverse the process to put it back in.
