the extreme version isn't much more than the basic black, and it's in stock at one place, in 9mm. if I had 9mm ammo so shoot, i'd be buying it now (alas, I've got a stockpile of 40 and no 9 yet)
 
Just bought one from kellys just outside of london, On. They had a listing on their site but didnt show if it was in stock or not. Made a quick call and got a brand new NOT refurbished 226 in .40 for 899!
 
that's a good price! i gotta find more of these gun stores that aren't part of the sponsors here...

Hard to say. Mine didnt come with night sights. But the one that did was an extra $145. They were selling for a good price cause they bought alot of them and could pass on some savings.

A friend just bought one from cabelas. Said it was $880 for a 9mm.
