SIG 2340 40 s&w

I have one, it is DAO, the trigger is long but smooth, as is the reset. It is an accurate pistol and is well built.

Priced right and definitely accurate. Will post range impressions after install of a factory short trigger and stainless steel guide rod.
BCRider - following-up on getting us in contact with the person/outfit that did the trigger work for your friend's SigPro. As stated - 5 lbs. in DA - now would'nt all of us SigPro owners want that?????

I have the Sig Pro 2022 in 40 basicly the same gun, except it's SA/DA and has a rail. Shoots great, never hiccups, and has a comfortable grip. Can't go wrong with a Sig.

I have the same pistol. Agree with all of the above. Nice trigger. Very easy to strip and clean and mine came with both trigger groups. Started with a 2340 from Dlask. I couldn't live with the DAO trigger that it came with so I traded it for the 2022. I am happy now.
 
I was shooting this gun last weekend, I am getting used to the trigger and will keep the gun, but will not buy another DAO ever again. The gun is growing on me, but then I am a Sig Addict.
 
I'll chime in with another + for the SP2022 in .40 S&W. SA/DA would be the way to go. These guns are excellent value and high quality.

The only thing that could possibly make this gun better is if it had a tenifer finish. The Sig finish isn't as durable as a Glock.

DAO... I'm not a fan if you plan to use it as a recreational thing.
 
Shot the SigPro at an IDPA classifier today. From my previous practices, its the first time to try out the newly installed SS full length guide rod and the factory Short Trigger.
The short trigger improves firing action by at least 25% (less creep) and the increased weight of the the full length SS guide rod (600% heavier than the factory plastic guide rod) helps with recoil resulting in an improved recovery time. All that's needed now for this shorter barreled Sig to compete with longer ones is lighter trigger action in DA. SA is workable and easy to get used to. (BCRIDER - we await your valuable assistance in helping us SigPro owners get our DA down to 5 lbs.)
Cost for the two upgrades was $25 for the factory trigger and $20 for the SS guide rod.
