Hey Rooster,

I took a few pictures for you, but I just read your post and realized that you might have meant something else by "action" other than what I have tried to show you here. So here they are anyway since I've already uploaded them, but if they're not what you're looking for then let me know exactly what you're after and I will try to get those for you. I don't have my vernier here unfortunately but the bolt diameter looks to be about 17-18mm if that means anything to you. I'll have it out at the range again tomorrow and I can snap some more if that helps. It's a gorgeous rifle by the way and the action honestly feels nicer than anything else I have ever tried. Shot sub-MOA with cheap factory ammo right out of the box even with that 3-9x I stole off my AR-15. No regrets with this thing, you won't be disappointed.

the bottom of the action is a little off, as they are a switch barrel receiver, barrel is held in with a key lock(to align up and down, and proper depth), and 3 large allen head cap screws.

If you google "Sauer 200 STR" barrel change there's some images and video that show the reciever. The fact that it has the magwell intergrated could be a bit of a hurdle for re-stocking. A search of aftermarket stocks for Sauer STR's may turn up some alternatives to the McMillan.

This is what I got of the net for Sauer 200, anyway it doesn't look very complicated to make a stock for this, either synthetic or 6061 aluminum. look to be easier than rem700 or winchester 70
