Can any one help me, I will be selling a Sig 550 Blue star in mint condition.

Just not sure what they are worth or what I should askIng $$

Any help would be great.

Thanks

$3k seems to be the going rate for a used Swiss Special. That is just the rifle with little to no accessories.
Someone may want to pay a premium for the Blue Star, Red Devil, etc., but I can't see by more than a few hundred.
Start high and work down?

I would say that is accurate. Im not familiar with how rare these special editions are, but to me that blue or red colors are less desirable unless you are a collector looking to start or complete a collection. Thats just my opinion and you know what they say about those.

I think the niche market could either effect your price positively if you are prepared to wait for a buyer that needs one, or it could effect your price negatively if you are trying to appeal to a larger market of people who may find it not as desirable with such a gotti colour scheme.

There is only one person I know that collected all the different colours. I don't know too many people that want a Blue Rifle. If the guy you sell it to doesn't like the colour you can send it to Armacoat.

Note:That one has a NEA lower.

I sold mine many years ago when they started importing the green ones.

I had to sell it at a hefty discount to get rid of it.

They are a great rifle, made in various colors for the sporting look
instead of the military look.
The only issue is the Government hates them!
