The 7.62 have a clunky appearance.

The 550 is a 541. They just changed enough that they felt it required a new series.

Those are the older ones. The stock on the newer ones is different.

Why cannot the 540's be imported from Chile. I believe they still make them in a sporting version for civies.

FAMAE does not sell to civilians. But I'm sure the French-made Manurhin SG 540s can be brought in..

I like the sights and buttstock from the 55x better, but prefer the forestock on the 54x.
