What do you guys think of these rifles?
Sure they cost 3,000 CDN but how's the performance and do any of you own one?

PS: sorry if this has been posted but I did a search and could only find 1 irrelevant thread......

There worth every last cent. Ask Specfire or 9mm-Suppository, both have shot my rifle and enjoyed the experience. The are VERY reliable, that is unless you leave the local range "ex-airborn" shoot it like I did, he will show you effective ways of jamming even a single shot coeey.

There very accurate and the superb trigger along with night sights really make it a great package. Plus it has a folding stock, and if thats not small eneugh for you in breaks down easily into two parts.

Its not plastic like an SL8.
Its a military proven design, unlike the M96.

Its the best Non-restricted "black" gun going.

hahaha I remember the goof. I'm still saving to buy one. Worth every cent. Even louder than an AR-15 (20 inch). The dioper sights are the best I've seen on a modern black rifle. Very well made and thought out rifle. Quality is excellent. It's the Rolex of rifles.

Where does one get spare parts for the Sig rifles such as the stocks?
Thanks,
Josh

From us... We keep a pretty good inventory of parts and accessories, even if our shipments of rifles are not exactly timely.

Wow the reviews on this board for the PE-90 are something. Im sure that they are worth the money.

Just a question: Are they a decent rifle to buy used? At $2500 - $2600 used at a shop it may be better to get a new one (if you compare the tax). A used one from the EE board is a whole nother matter.

Last time I asked about oter calibres in the sig PE90 lineup was that 7.62x39mm (russian) would be first, because the reciever dosen't have to be changed. then the 7.62x51mm (NATO) will come along, much much later, because the complete re-engineering has to happen. There is a prototype of that version out there which was photograped extensively at the Paris arms show a while back, but that is just a pre-prototype/proof of concept type rifle. Long time from retail sale. Look at the bright side, gives you lots of time to fill that piggy bank!

I personally would rather have a 6.5 Grendel version of the PE90 rather than a 7.62xanything, but that's just me. :D
