I am looking to mount a red dot on my sig 226 in .22 caliber it came with an adjustable sight manufactured by LPA. I ordered a Burris dovetail mount to fit the 226 but unknown to me they only fit the dovetail for fixed sights which is much smaller. Does anyone know if the LPA dovetail is standard to any other pistol makes so that I may be able to interchange bases? If not any other suggestions for making this work?
