I have a friend who's looking for a semi .38spl, he is interested in this hammerli but I've never seen of them in Canada. Anyone know what kind of numbers may have made it into the country? What type of price would they be going for?

Probably on a few hundred made it here, if that many. Last one I heard of was asking $1800, but that was a few years ago. Larry's guns in the US usually has a few priced around $2500 to $3000 . EGun in Germany is the place to find one under a thousand, but the export-import problem will make you cry.

Not quite as Eurochic, but easier to find would be a Smith Model 52.
