Guys that have them or have had both I'm curious how they perform. I'm real close to buying and wondering which you guys think is better. Will be used on animals and steel. I have had the original g7 br2 and it was nothing to write home about which has me leaning towards the sig kilo. I've never looked through the 2400 but have used the 2000 and the glass wasn't the best.

I use a leica now and it's awesome, but looking for something with built in ballistics. I considered the 2800.com but from what I understand you need to use your kestrel to get the firing direction. The kilo2400 you could just leave your phone in your pack and it will automatically calculate all of that.
I have both the kilo is faster, lighter,smaller, and very handy being able to use your phone is trigger range finder but will not range in adverse conditions like the G7 does I have the G7 mounted above my spotting scope for ease and kilo as a portable belt mount both do what they claim kilo will give you calculation for drop out to farther distance.
I've ranged rocks at 2900y with mine. Ballistic solutions are typically within 1/4moa of reality out to 1038y so far
