I'm about to pull the trigger on a new M17 -- hardly any used on marketplaces. I also didn't realize the slide was a slightly different colour than the rest of the frame.

Besides that would you buy it again? What did you like/didn't like about it?

I have a p320 m17 for almost of a year, having shot about 500 rounds. I love it. The best part I love is the accuracy and reliability. I can constantly shoot within 3-4" circle from 25 yards and it eats almost any type of ammos.
What I don't like is the trigger, it's on the heavy side, but not unbearable.
Would I buy it if I didn't own it? No, because I am a type of person who always want to try different things. It's not about the gun itself, it's just me.

Took two new shooters out and both tried a number of pistols. Interestingly both did better then their average with the M17

I bought mine as a project gun. I don't like that the rear sights are the full width of the slide. I find it blocks out more than I'd like. Unless you want a manual safety, or really want a tan gun out of the box, I'd go for a regular P320 or an optics ready version if that strikes your fancy.
