Sig M400 Elite Titanium

Well,

local gun store had one of these in their display (and for sale), I asked if I could see it and play around with it... all i have to say is wow!

If it wasn't 1800$, and if I had additional funds, I would have 'walked away' with it!

Maybe I should buy this after selling my 102 and cough up the price difference...

They're good rifles. I've got an M400, not an Elite Titanium, and I've been overall happy with it. I'd say $1800 is a pretty decent retail price for it - given the furniture and paint job, it'd be hard to take a stock AR and customize it to look similar for that price, with the exception of an M&P 15 Sport 2.

They're good rifles. I've got an M400, not an Elite Titanium, and I've been overall happy with it. I'd say $1800 is a pretty decent retail price for it - given the furniture and paint job, it'd be hard to take a stock AR and customize it to look similar for that price, with the exception of a M&P 15 Sport 2.

Seeing it in reviews was one thing.. having it in hand is completely different. Sooo tempting though! 7.3lbs... I'd get a titanium BCG to shave a little more and get a sub 7lbs rifle

Well, not to give you more thoughts of spending your cash, but at Shot they did display their new M400 VTAC. It was pretty slick, nice furniture and lighter weight. If I recall, it was pre-production, so who knows if or when it will be available up here.
