I want this...Any word on who will carry it or when it will be available in Canada? I have the m400 enhanced and it's been a rock solid rifle and, I think it's time for another sig....

It was only announced like, 2 weeks ago, so keeping an eye out for more info.
 
I did buy it from irunguns. I didn't get the optic though as I have an eotech and magnifier for it. It is about 1/2 the weight of the m400 enhanced (in case you were wondering) and the quality is fantastic. Put 200 rounds through it, no problems.
However....I was annoyed that it didn't come with ambi mag release or ambi safety....but, that's just personal preference...AND it didn't come with the 'tighteness' screw that the m400 enhanced comes with to keep upper and lower tight (not that it wasn't tight).
Trigger is single stage and very smooth.
Fantastic rifle though...it's now my fav. My ole lady got the old enhanced but she was pissed she couldn't have the new one. She really loved it.
 
That's good that your happy with it. I was looking at buying an AR for myself as I don't have one yet. I was thinking about a Daniel Defence V7, but after your experience I might consider a SIG again.

I thought it shipped with the sight included in the price?
 
Nope. Sight is optional add-on. I like the Sig rifles. Great quality/features for a good price....which is weird because I hate sig pistols lol. Al Flaherty's has the titanium one last time I looked. Not sure if they have black yet. Have fun, let us know.

I believe the rifle was actually announced at The Shot Show. They can be ordered from your local SIG dealer, including the rifle that includes the Romeo5. I love the handguard--very slim and lightweight.

The SKU for the black rifle that includes the Romeo5 is RM400-16B-E-R.

Midwest industires (MI) and UTG are entirely different entities. If memory serves UTG was originally an airsoft company, I was surprised to see one of their handguards on a SIG. I do like the look of that handguard though.
