Anyone have experience with these? I see Tenda has some in stock. I’m looking for a SBR and it looks to have all the things I’m really looking for. Just looking for some fun AR style shooting and don’t want to spend $2000+. The only negatives I can see are the blade stock which looks uncomfortable and the couple video reviews I found say that the hand guard can get hot because the tip venting cutouts don’t go the entire length of the hand guard.

If anyone has other recommendations for an approximately $1000 rifle let me know please.

Thanks!

SBR's look pretty cool, but they have a unique somewhat annoying trait, noise. If you've fired one I don't need to tell you. I wouldn't have a barrel under 16" in 5.56/223 for something I planned on shooting often. 5.56 creates way too much Muzzle Blast with a barrel 14.5", or less, kind of reminds me of firing the Carl G, obviously not the same, but still pretty intense. If I was really set on a 10.5"ish barrel I'd be getting it in a Pistol Cartridge, or 300 Blk.

The Stock may look uncomfortable, but it's a gentle to shoot, if you don't like it you can easily replace it with something you like better.

This looks like a tidy deal...https://theammosource.com/radical-firearms-rf-15-semi-5-56-nato-16-socom-barrel-blk/

Thanks for the info. Yea I saw most come rifles are of 16-18”. My thinking was if I get the short barrel but want to go longer I just need to the buy barrel not necessarily the hand guard too. If I start both long then need to buy both to go shorter.

Depending on the Barrel length the gas system will be different as well.
