Sig Mosquito, Yes or No?

I don't like where Sig Sauer puts their slide release, right where my shooting hand thumb wants to sit on a safety. The slide would never lock back because of the contact with my thumb. A girl who was shooting my pistol would either have that problem or slightly push the slide lock up and lock the slide back in the middle of the magazine.

I've recently hacksawed the large piece of the slide release off, leaving a little "stub" sticking out of the side of the pistol. It's low profile enough so that I won't accidentally contact it with my thumb, but still usable... being about the same profile as a Glock or M&P slide release.\

Just sayin...
