Got a little range time this afternoon with 2X 45 ACP Sig Nightmare Carry and Dan Wesson Classic Heritage...
Each pistol was feed 200 rounds of 230 FMJ Wolf ammo, no failures or troubles were experienced, both are gorgeous and easy shooting pistols...

All shooting from 17 yards...

I've seen JP's Baer in action and judging by the accuracy of these two at 17y slow fired, the Baer is twice as accurate at nearly twice that distance.

Could not have said it better myself, the trigger of the Dan Wesson is smoother than the Sig one but both are far from my LB trigger... JP.

When The next LB show up at the House of 1911, i will get another one probably the Les Baer Concept V... JP.

My Les Baer is a Premier ll standard with a trigger set at 2.8 pounds.... JP.

Average 10 pulls of my LB Prowler III is 3.1lbs off my RCBS trigger pull scale. Requested a 3.5# trigger job from the LB custom shop. On a good day this bad boy along with a good operator will shoot 5 rounds into 2" at 40 meters (44 yards). Yeah I know, I've put two "flyers" into that group, otherwise all 5 rounds would have been into 1"

wow! impressive shooting, Harry.

Thanks G, being able to push the limits on one of the most accurate 1911 available and as a result, see this level of accuracy in my own hands really makes the 1.5" at 50 yards accuracy guaranteed option worth it to me. If I ever get another Les Baer, it will have the $300 option. Heck, when your dumping $2k-$3k+ for a semi custom 1911 why not go the extra mile and get the one witch is more capable?

A bad LB is impossible, not as good as your Prowler but pretty satisfying for me... JP.

That is my view as well. Now just waiting for the PII to clear US customs. I understand the Prowler is particularly sweet and I wouldn't be able to shoot as well as that regardless, but I will only be able to blame myself :)
