I have had one of the Target versions on order since mid summer. The excitement and anticipation are building as I regularly read posts on other forums indicating that US shooters are receiving their pistols. The response is always wildly favourable. Except from the purist camp where comparisons are drawn to the original Swiss pistols, I haven't heard a negative comment yet.

I'm particularly interested in comment from shooters who have received the fixed sight model with respect to sight alignment. For those that haven't seen this German wonder, here's a shot of the TGT.

Anybody?

I thought I saw the 210 at Reliable in Vancouver a couple weeks back, huge sticker price, long barrel and to me, looks closer to a 1911 than a P226

Held the SIG 210 Target and Super Target or long slide model, whatever at SHOTSHOW 2012! Both were very nice , but the regular 5"er was better balanced for me. The price is really really high, I would buy a regular 210 legend and put a set of target sights like I did, as the price is a little too much for a 9 MM! Great gun if you can afford it. Dale Z

SIG P-210 models

The long slide model is the Super Target with a six inch barrel. The controls are similar to the 1911 but very sleekly styled. My understanding was that just two of them were brought into Canada.

The fixed sight version can be retro fitted with adjustable sights but they are not easy to find, expensive and must be very skillfully installed. If adjustable sights are required, it's a much better idea to buy the standard Target model which has the sights cut into a slightly different slide. Both the fixed sight and Target models have 4.7 inch barrels.
