SIG P210 Sight Help!

Hey Everyone,

I just picked up a new SIG P210. After taking it to the range a few time, i am finding that i don't really like the sights... any recommendations?

WHere did you pick it up

What do you not like about the sights? I played with a swiss surplus one a few weeks ago and i loved how precise the sights were.
 
If you find some let me know. I have a P210-2 and have been scouring the internet for some too. Check out Numerich in the states, I got a front sight that is a little taller than the one it came with. A word of caution, its real ##### to put one on. I had to put the sight in the freezer and the slide in boiling water to get the sight on:eek: since I don't have a sight pusher for it. LPA makes some but I'm not sure how to get them. Novak in the US has sights, but won't ship out of the US.

Please clarify. Are you talking about the new Legend? Is it the fixed sight or adjustable sight version?

In either case, I'd be interested in when and where you got it.
 
It's an aweful gun sell it to me. If you have an older p210 with fixed sights you can upgrade to micrometer sights for several hundred dollars. If tou have the micrometer sights, I have no clue what to recommend other than a trade for my sport stock
 
You can order a set of new factory adjustable sights for your 210 Legend like I did, it has three pre sets , I imagine for PPC shooters, but works great for bullseye 20 and 50 metre pre sets, plus an extra setting for some other full house loading for CDP, they aren't cheap, I think over $300. If I new they were coming out with a new Legend target, would have just bought it instead, cheers Dale ZQ
 
You got sucked into buying one of those crappy Euro trash guns, did you? Well I'd be quite willing to do you the favour of trading that inferior left leaning piece of Eurotrash, for a real honest to God, made in America gun - a Target Model, factory special HighPoint. You can't do better than that :D

What kind of sights are on the gun right now? What is it that you don't like about?
New models come with wider sights than original. 25 vs 50 m shooting distance.
 
Guisan can get you a set of adjustable sights for the 210.
Will need some work to grind the base of the rear sight to fit the dovetail.

Got a set from him last year. See it here, Dobler.
