Sig P220 Combat

Is anybody else a excited about the release of the P220 Combat on August 1st? I really like the colour scheme. I will have to get my hands on one of those!

how diffirent is it from a regular P220? is it the rail and yellow/orange colour that makes it 'combat' ?

I thought the combat came with a barrel threaded for a suppressor, like the HK Tactical/Mark 23.

I really like the bronze bottom half. I would change the grip though. I think it would look good with a hogue rubber grip on it. All black looks too un-origional to me...

I don't mind that colour combo, but as others have said, I would need to swap the grip... Just because of my gynecologists' fingers, I need a Hogue with fingergrooves on my P220 to fill my hand.

I'm guessing that's an alloy frame still, by the way the finish has started to come off it already??

When and if my P220 wears out, I'll be getting a P220 stainless!

Yup, luv it. They came out with 2 the pic shown(mdbuckle) & the threaded barrel version with 10 rnd mag, sig says that this model gets the 20,000 rnd test instead of the usual 10,000 & salt test this & that etc. They burn it freeze it drop it crush it, shoot it full of mud, check out you tube (sig 220 torture test)

It was my first SIG and for me by far best .45 I have owned to date. The fit and finish is better than many custom guns I have looked at and fired. It is built like a tank and definitely something I'd be confident to take into battle. The target shows two 8 rd mags fired in 21 seconds at 20M standing (and I am not a very good shot generally). I pulled the first DA round and first round after the mag change.

Thanks, I think it just jumped to the top of my list ahead of the HP in 40 and the Sig 2022. Took a look at the TB, those sights are just fugly. see pic blow
