I know they're very differant, but lets say you could have only one of these guns......which would it be and why?

Agreed - the USP IMO is the finest looking pistol there is, but all the hype towards the SIG has me second guessing the P220 if I can only own one of them.

I think I'm going to grab that SS slide USP .45 that I was looking at....can't wait :D

Hk for sure. I have one in .45 with stainless slide and am very happy with it. Reliability has been great, and it shoots very well. And as everyone else has said, it's a looker. Grip is on the thick side though, and the gun and mags are pricey.

That's funny, I just bought a used one in .45 with the Stainless slide (Variant 1) about one hour ago. I think I got a pretty good deal at $700 considering it's mint with a very low round count. Can't wait 'till it arrives :D

Here's a pic of it;

Yea...I'll hopefully have a P220 soon enough. I was just too in love with the USP to not have. Never been crazy about the look of the SIGs

I've had numerous model of both units...
Gone through H&K Tactical, Expert, Compact...Mark23:eek: , and they're all gone..
Have had, and continue to own Sig 220 ST, as well as a new SAO model...
Also own 226's(ST) in 9MM and 40S&W..have a DAK in 9MM inbound....
You get the drift...:D

For me, I'd go with the Sig. I've owned a 'Euro' P220 for close to 20 years and it has never caused me any regrets! Very accurate, reliable and easy to field strip and parts are quite easy to get. Next choice, for me, would be a 1911 but not as quick to field strip as the Sig but equally accurate and reliable.

I like the P220. I find there's less muzzle flip, better trigger and alot more comfortable when shooting.

I've been in love with the P22x series SIGs since they first came in their funny internal wire configuration. Then the USP came out and I had a love affair with that for a long time, then I came back to the SIG....but really, why choose. Both are great service pistols. If you can, buy one of each.

I do love the HK USP P10......there are a few who have the threaded barrel 'Tactical' Compact here. Slimmer more natural grip.

You did VERY well. I bought one in the same shape for $900 shipped, and THAT was considered a good deal.

What's the date code? KB? Can't see it too clear...

That's good to hear - I'm glad you shared that.

It says 'KG' are you able to tell me a rough manufacturer date from that?
