Are most of the internal interchangeable? I would love to have short trigger and the E2 system to fit my hand better. I have short fingers unfortunately. Did a search and it being a norinco sometime SIG parts would fit and sometime it wouldn't. If it does I might go this route with other SIG copies (np34 and p762) in the future.

Anyone has tried to fit E2 system to NP 22 norinco?

Any suggestion on thin grips? I'm buying a stock SIG grips and see how it works.

Not really, some external things like grips can possibly be modified to fit but it's sketchy. I have the Hogue g10's on all my Sigs they make the grips a little thinner and just feel perfect to me so if the E2 dont work maybe give those a try. Internal parts will need extensive modification and I really recommend against this unless you are a licensed gunsmith even then it still probably won't work reliably.
Regardless when you are done it still won't be a Sig IMHO it's like putting porsche parts on a Kia.

Yea I know it won't be a SIG, but I also don't have 1300 to spend on a SIG. These norinco stuffs are going to be one of my that'll do for now thing.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep it in mind

Absolutely love my Sig 228 Clone NP-34!

Had a gunsmith buddy look it over, installed a SRT for the trigger, some Hogue grips.

Was a little gritty at first but the trigger is real nice now.

Very accurate, never had any problems with it. Highly recommended as I paid just 369.00 with 2 mags, case, replacement spring kit, and holster. Sights are different and cannot be swapped with a SIG.

Is it a 1100.00 Sig? Nope, but it shoots great and my buddy swears by them, as there is no way after handling it could I justify spending 800.00 more, but hey if you got the bucks buy a Sig and not a clone.

Takes 228 Sig mags fine, love the finger grips as well. :) These new ones have super beefy steel slide rails as well. If possible try both out and decide what works for you.

I would not pay 1100.00 for the Norc but it is certainly worth sub 400.00 :)

I used stock SIG 228 mags, but heard that 226 mags do work, but may need a notch opened up a bit as some mags are indexed differently by the notch.

226 mags will work in the NP-34 and the NP-22. The only issue with 226 mags in the NP-34 is that they stick out the bottom quite a bit.

I bought an ARMCO tuned NP22, so I don't really want to mess with the work already done. just trying to make it fit my hand better. Although E2 set is 75 USD from SIG, I'm not sure about canadian availability or if you could buy directly from the US. I felt like I bought a Roush tuned V6 mustang and trying to turn it into Shelby Cobra.... lol. Its all good.
