Sig P226 at Cabelas

Same with the 1911 as well it seems. Hmm now I'm I'm a pickle. I'd been planning on getting the Tac Pac but now I'm not so sure. I think I'll he making a drive out there sometime in the near future

P226

Best price you will find is at Questar. Great people to deal with and if you subscribe to to Canadian firearms newspaper you can get a extra $150 off

So you can pick up a new 226 for just over $700

Just checked Questar and it's $993. I don't have a Canadian newspaper subscription so no discount and its also on back order for 12-24 weeks on Questar, plus possible shipping costs.

Now Cabelas has it for $879.99 before tax and they actually have it in stock.

So if you can't get the discount, it's cheaper to go with Cabelas

Cheapest centerfire 226 at Questar is $993, your #'s don't add up ^

mcadams, aka thegundealer dot com, was advertising a 226 9mm/.22 combo for 999.

you get the .22 pistol, and a 9mm conversion kit.

Buy something you don't need to get the gun for $843. How much is the newspaper... thought everyone got their firearm news online?

Can you provide a link to the items in question? I'm assuming the $259 is a 9mm caliber change kit but I can't find it on the site

Ok, you are right... listed the 22 pistol and an x change kit but it wasn't the 9mm. Sorry.

Cabela's Classic 22+9mm exchange kit (from anywhere else) is still cheaper than $999 by about $100 (make that $79, unless you can find the 9mm kit cheaper...)

$549 (Classic 22 226 @ Cabela's)+$372 (9mm X-Change kit @ Questar)= $921

Still can't beat Cabela's prices on Sig 226 pistols.

Doesn't seem like you can beat their prices on SIG pistols period, even though it seems most stuff is overpriced when I go there

I bought my p226 from cabelas. Its the baseline 226r and it wasent under 900. I paid just under 1100. But I forced them to get me one from the back and I broke the seal on the case myself.

I dont trust cabelas. They lie about the defect sticker. My experience with a s&w 629 really turned me off. Be careful what you buy from them.

They are $879 now, with our strong dollar, almost the same as the USA price. I bought a shotgun from Cabela's that I'm happy with... you can have a bad experience anywhere, so shop where you can get the best deal and hope for the best.

I paid $925 for my Sig p226 about 6 months ago, it was around the same price at Cabela's at that time.
