Hey guys,

I'd like to know what you think of that deal? I'm looking for a new Sig in 9mm and although these are German-made and two tone, they're selling them for about the same price as American-made standard P226R. Looks like a very good deal to jump on but I thought I would check what people think first.

i would love a 2 tone 226. ive got a 89 226 9mm in black, shoots amazing.

"ALL GERMAN COMPONENTS" probably means its made in usa with some german parts.

If these are from Murdoc, they are all German made. My P220 has the proofs and I understand these P226s to be the last German made run.

if so grab one while you can.. mine has well over 10,000 rounds through it and not even a spring has been replaced.
clean it, shoot it.

I was going to buy one, until I made too many other purchases... I bought the German 220 and I'm in love with that thing. If you have the money- buy. Better yet, buy it, shoot 200rds and put it on the EE so I can buy it at a discount :)

What's the significance of "without rails" ?

I thought one the highly touted features of Sig's was the full frame rails.

edit: I'm a retard...thought it meant the frame/slide rails were different...not the missing accessory rail...which is plainly shown in the picture..duhrr lol

I like the "non-rail" as it looks cleaner. Personally I don't use the rail anyway so it's a useless feature for me. I am thoroughly impressed with my German made 220 so I am sure this will be another masterpiece. A good price too, due to a large order size.
