I recently acquired a Sig P226 marked made in W Germany. My understanding is that these are pretty rare.

I shot 2 boxes of ammo through it. Gun is extremely precise but I prefer my Beretta M9A3 and I don’t think that I will end up keeping it.

Gun comes with 2 mags. No box or manual. Any idea of what it would be worth ? I got the gun on a trade so I have no clue what it’s actually worth.

They are not super rare; just a product of the times when there was a West and East Germany.

In the usual good to excellent condition, they should fetch about the same as any other older Made in Germany SIG P-series.
The lack of a box and manual may affect the value a bit but I think it will go quick at $600-$700. That’s close to what they were new in the late 80s.

I loved this Gen of P226. Simplicity at its best.

I had a Made in W. Germany P220 and it didn’t sell for more.

I agree with the above. There has been a really nice 80's vintage mint P220 in box that has sat on EE for awhile at just over 700. Seems like a crazy good deal as they are great guns. the 9mm P226 might have slightly broader appeal but still if you got 700 or close to it, you'd be doing well i think. I would pick this vintage over a new US production model any day but for whatever reason they just don't seem to move that fast or for that much.
