I’m hoping somebody on this board can help me. I have a box of bits and pieces of mags from a friends dad (R.I.P). Im trying to figure out what springs, followers, and baseplates etc. Go with what. I believe the p226 mags are quite old and possibly from the 80’s-90’s. Can someone post a picture of all the components and specifically what is the spring length for the p226.

Are your P226 magazine bodies of zipper back or dovetail back construction?

Are the magazine bodies phosphate/parkerized or blued finish?

Which caliber are they marked on the LH side of the mag body?

Which capacity or how many round capacity witness holes are in the RH side of the mag body?

5 parts will be required to build up/assemble the magazine, depending on vintage & capacity will determine spring length.

dovetail magazine back construction.

They're a black phosphate/ parkerized finish, however one is a bit shinier so it may be blued, but they're all black in colour.

the mags are 9mm, but there is no marking on the left hand side to say that. There is however "Sig Sauer" with "P226"below that at the middle height of the mag.

Originally 15 round mags, on the right side there is a witness hole at the 5 round mark, on the left side hole at 10 round mark, and 15 on the right side. These are all on the back or spine of the mag.

FYI some of the baseplates have a rubber bottom glued to them and some don't.

Hopefully this is enough info to help determine what I have. If you have a picture of all parts that would be appreciated.

There really isn't much to them... make sure they are pinned when you reassemble, that's if you have the right parts.

I can't find a schematic for a P226 magazine but here's the whole gun and magazine:
