Hey guys do any of you own one of these ? what are your opinions? how do you like it? I own a M&P 45 and was thinking about getting it a friend haha! thanks.

I got one! It's a great gun...not exactly the same size as a P226, but close enough I can use the same holster. I haven't shot mine a lot, but it's as good as any of the older Sig models. The E2 grips are quite nice.

Sig pistols have a fairly high bore axis, so it will recoil and feel rather different than the M&P45 [I have one of those too...]. The Sig is very shootable however...if you are good with one, you'll be fine with the other.

Shop around for prices...I've seen a few go for considerably less than the $1250 new price I paid for mine. I think that IRunGuns has some refurbed pistols for well under $1000 [US]. I was also able to get 10 round mags from Irunguns...the new pistol comes with just two for some reason. I think all autopistols should come with 3 mags minimum, but maybe that's just me.

I added SRT trigger to mine and I like it... Doesn't get as much range time as my 226s but works just as well

I played with one, much thinner grip than I expected. I like sigs so I think its quite a good buy for a fun duty style .45
