I see on Questar's website they are now saying:
"Exciting News... we have confirmed that SIG P229 .22lr Conversion Kits will be available here in Canada with >106mm barrel;"
Not a shameless plug really... I'm just glad to hear this because I have two 229's and have really been looking for a good .22LR since my Walther P22 blew up and I sold my SIG Mosquito. I was considering the "Robocop" Beretta 87 target for awhile, but if I can get a good .22LR conversion kit for a 229, that would be a better choice I think.
My girlfriend has a Beretta 90-two and a Ciener .22LR kit on Beretta 92 frame, and that has been a real nice dynamic duo for her. The Beretta .22LR conversion kit is so far superior to most of what is on the market for .22LR autopistols that function like a full calibre pistol... and it is a lot of fun to shoot. I;m really hoping the SIG kits will be just as much fun.
Does anyone know what the sights look like on the SIG kits? Are they flat black, or are they a white dot in the front with a white stripe in the back?
