Hi there,

Anyone have any experience with the latest batch of Sig P250s? Would be interested in what you think of them...and yes i am considering the P320 as well...

I haven't shot the 250 but i own the 320 and love it. The only difference is hammer vs striker. Since the 250 is hammer fired, the trigger pull is longer and heavier.
Mags and frames and interchangeable with same caliber 250/320. Frames are interchangeable between 9/357/40 but not the 45 since the mags are bigger, and FCU is different.
A lot of people hate the 250 because of the long heavy trigger but i plan on picking one up in 9mm to go with my 320. It'll give me some extra mags and it they seem to be a couple hundred less than the 320 since they aren't as popular.

The 250 have a double action only trigger pull. Very similar to a revolver. It's very smooth, actually the smoothest trigger pull I felt but it's long.
 
As stated above the long pull is the only drawback. For revolver shooters it is an easy adjustment and very pleasant. Very accurate and pleasant to shoot but you need to be careful about which version you get as the earlier frames differ from the later version. I support it whole heartedly.

I have a new p250 and love it. I am used to the dao trigger and find I can shoot it just as accurately as my previous sp01 shadow. Ppl who don't like the gun just don't know how to shoot a dao trigger. Most underrated pistol out there.
 
P250's are good pistols, but if you aren't used to a long and stiff trigger pull, you'll hate it.

Get an SP2022 (hammer) which has a good DA/SA trigger (approx 4.5 lb SA). A Sig polymer pistol that nobody talks about... "the poor man's 226".

Thanks for the input. I started out shooting revolvers so I think the trigger should not be an issue.
I just have to decide if a Sig is a "want" or a "need"...

Took my P250 to the range for the first time today. 150 rounds shot with no issues. Took a few mags for me to get used to it. My groups at the end of the session were not too bad but a little high and to the right at 20 yds.
I did find that I could not keep my grip high, at the base of the "beavertail". Will need some more time on it but I do like the trigger.

Yep wanted a Sig for a while and with the lower price tag of this model I just needed to buy one. Think I got the last one at SFRC. Never thought I'd get a plastic gun let alone in 9mm. So looks like I killed three birds with one stone, first Sig, first plastic pistol and first pistol in 9mm. Looking forward to getting the pistol and hitting up the range. Dies and bullet mould are on the way just might need a different powder for the 9.
 
If I was in your place I would go straight to p226... few used models on EE and reasonable prices. I think Sig took a lot of corners to get into the lower price market with p250. Just my opinion boys and girls...no need to prove me wrong.

I have a 226 Elite and 2022 already... no need for a service pistol with a bad trigger, but these are good pistols for the small price tag.
 
Mine came in today. Pretty impressed with the DAO trigger on this thing. Hoping to get some rounds loaded up to take the pistol for a test run this weekend. How are your pistols treating you guys fellas?
