I am thinking about buying sig p250 full size does anyone have one i would like to know little bit more about it

thanks

It would be nice if someone would actually import these. I guess the market for this gun just isn't there.

It's too bad, I've got one on my short list because it's a fantastic idea, espessially being here in Canada. We could get the gun here with the sub compact frames, compact slides and full size barrels, but I have yet to see one in that configuration.

Actually, I have yet to see one, period. Questar has a full size .45 right now, IIRC, or at least they did. I'd jump on it, but the money is an issue.

i know aren't they great looking guns as soon as i saw it i fell in love with it, as far a price goes it is little pricey but i personaly thing its worth the money you r right Questar has it and its exacly what i am looking for. I just thought someone knows little bit more about it first hand Did you by any chance see the p250 2sum package now that is something i would jump at without thinking

They are great guns and very compatible for caliber change. Only problem being that they hit the market so fast that SIG cant keep up with demand for the caliber change kits and mags which were a major selling point(caliber change easability). In Canada the full size is available but the compact is just a wee bit short barrel wise to be allowed. A problem has arisen with the mag springs breaking. Unfortunately they are so new and few that even Wolff has not managed to produce aftermarket springs(I know as I had provided Wolff with the info/pics etc).
If a person is a new shooter or a revolver person, they will have no problem using this gun, as it is DAO and the trigger has a very long reset. If you were used to a Glock or similar with short reset trigger, this will be annoying at first and take time to get used to.
Overall, it is very light, accurate and a pleasure to shoot. The grip frame replacement costs are about the same or less than a pair of grips. I replaced mine for under $50US, but again, trying to find them is pretty much impossible in Canada and very difficult in the US.
Cheers

wow that is a lot of helpfull info daBear thank you very much now only one thing worries me if the p250 full size is big enough cuz i have large hands and i would want it to fit right

If the full size has the large grip frame you will have no problem at all. I have some pretty good size mitts and I have the medium size grips which are fine and I changed my mind about going to a larger grip after trying the regular ones. Its ergonomically designed so it fits better than a regular grip.
