Sticky please !!! chime in @everyone !!!

I got a P320 AXG during the hype. its a xfive full size slide on the axg carry size metal frame
the gun goes , mostly - no malfunctions at all from it
however, I have 5 mags - 2 of which give me headaches
1 legion mag where, due to the capacity limiting crimp, sometimes when loading the mag with ammunition, the follower will get stuck below the crimp, requiring removal of the magazine base extension.
1 xfive mag where, on the last round of the 10, occassionally, it fails to feed. spring strength or fitment of the follower I guess?
the combined failure rate of the 2 mags of my 4 at the time, to 1000 rounds was around 0.5% one in every 200 , 1% if I cycle them in more so prob a bit higher I have contacted the dealer about it, further am amenable to contacting the distributor should that fail

anyways, like I said I have over 1000 rounds now in my p320 axg during the 2 weeks I had it. I feel comfortable enough to discuss its performance a bit at this point as id like to get some feedback from others to improve
honestly it is highly accurate, it has no problem shooting bullseye groups at 10 yards. the grip is comfortable and easy to choke up on.. while I dont love the sig sights, they are more than OK.
the flat trigger is different, took some getting use to and breaking in. the break is nice enough, the take up and reset are squishy still like a striker but again, its decent ..

I shtily installed an armory craft mag funnel (stripped the screw a bit in the process) and some walnut grips
the walnut grips dont fit quite as well as the g10, and they arent as grippy - but boy are they aesthetic (IMO)
the magazine funnel seems to work well enough, Ima take it out to trial tomorrow morning

my plan is to install suppressor height sights and an aimpoint acro p2. lastly, sometime a streamlight TLR10 laser/light combo and maybe a holster down the road but not sure if I trust it enough to not go off lol seems ok so far ..

another xfive magazine fail (this one is now marked, I am still trialing it)

anyways, im very interested in some range reports reviews commentary from the other p320 shooters on this board !! the guns sold so I know youre out there !!!!!
hope this helps, handgun goes brr

I have a P320RX with a Romeo 1, TLR7 Sub, a Wilson Combat grip module and an Apex flat trigger. It is one of my most favorite guns to shoot and I would sat that the WC grip is the best fitting grip I have ever handled, pistol or otherwise. I find it to be a very accurate and fast pistol to shoot. I don't mind or notice the higher bore axis but I'm sure other here will chime in to complain. I think the trigger is pretty decent. I am not really one for fancy triggers and trigger components and I prefer to shoot stock triggers. (Yes, I know I upgraded the trigger to an apex but it was just the trigger). All around I think the P320 is a very solid pistol. I am a little upset that I was not able to get a complete AXG pistol but the beauty of the 320 is that I can always swap over the grip later on.
As far as reliablility goes, I have zero malfunctions of any kind.

If you are looking for a Safariland holster for the P320 w/ red dot and light, hit me up, I may have a few options.

I ordered one of those Wilson grips from Brownells. I hope CBSA doesn't tard out or something thinking it's a frame...

Very nice. I was humming and hawing between the AXG and RXP, but ultimately went with the latter. Basically the same top half but the RXP came with optic preinstalled, so slightly more convenient. I definitely want the aluminum frame though. Hope down the road they will make a full length aluminum frame. Can't go wrong with Aimpoint. You could save yourself a couple hundred and get the C2.

I gotta get one of these WC grips I guess. They were abundant , hopefully arent too hard to source. was the mag release a tricky install at all? ive seen they ship uninstalled
the height over bore axis on the p320 isnt noticable at all IMO, less so then compared to the 226 IMO.
Agree on stock triggers. only exception I have is a factory short reset trigger on my 226.
Only holster I would be interested in for 320 at this point is for axg frame. probably gonna custom order one from gray fox.

decent little package. personally I prefer a 3 moa dot to 6 but im sure itll serve you well enough. recommend the axg frame but the price tag is kinda outrageous.
I can get the acro p2 IOP , not so bad

FWIW xfive mags wont work in armory craft mag well lol. need to have the extended legion mags. wish they werent so expensive.

The WC grip ships with the mag release pre installed.
As for the mag, the newer ones don't fit certian frames due to the flanges on the base plates that rest on the sides of the mags.

3 of my mags were afflicted with this condition. I just used a dremel to trim off this part and now they seat in the WC grip and should seat in other grips too. I have dropped these mags on concrete hundreds of times with no issues.

Yes I prefer the 3MOA dot as well but compromised because it already came with the co-witness sights - one less mod. If I don't like it I'll swap. Unfortunately it came with the protective housing already mounted which i'm not too fond of, so i may have to remove the sight anyway to take off the shroud.

I also ended up getting the Armory Craft Nitron coated steel magwell and added their steel mag base plates. Adds a little weight.

care to post a pic so I could consider trying to emulate?

nice looking pistol. how do you like the grip, presumably you dont have the internal grip weight? those things are hard to find - I have one of those xfive grips to try some time but I just love the axg

im at 1500 rounds now, out of the box, no cleaning - no issues, gun performing well

I like it a lot. I don't have the grip weights but the steel mag well and base plates add to the balance - better than without. I'll definitely get the axg grip at some point though. Yours is a nice package with the wood panels.

I started out with a bare ass M17. I like having the manual safety, so different strokes for different folks.

Shortly after I found a tungsten infused TXG grip with the weight and mag funnel. About five minutes with a Dremel to cut out the safety notch. While I do like the added weight, and the thing is like a boulder in your hand, the grip angle is slightly steep bordering on a Glock.

Then I managed to find an AXG grip and once again modified it to allow for the manual safety. This grip when combined with the Armoury Craft mag funnel is perfection in my opinion. Feels like a striker fired P226, and is my range toy. I'll likely do Armoury Craft's trigger at some point, as I find the M17 trigger a bit annoying after a several mags during a range outing.

As someone else mentioned, you need to take your time installing the Armoury Craft mag funnel. I had to use anti-seize compound and run the screw into and out of the grip a number of times to loosen it up a bit.

When I bought my P320RX, I bought a small grip frame because of stubby little fingers. A much superior shooting grip results.

It is marked “SIG”, but may be a licensed third party manufacturer.

During the Freeze Buying Spree, I bought another P320X5 and a P320 Legion, and want to buy small grip frames for them as well.

The LGS where I bought the first one has advised that Sig is no longer producing the small grip frames, instead using the production resources and finances to make complete pistols.

Dunno - could be true, could be BS.

Anyway, can anyone else suggest a source for small grip frames to fit these guns ? TIA !

manual safeties are jank, but preferable to having a self discharging pistol lol. that is some commitment, dremeling out so you can use it. right on.
with all the hullaballoo, my P320 is gonna stay range toy sans holster.. its sketchy, doesnt instill confidence IMO

zed , your best bet is maybe just to scour the canadian retailers and subscribe to mailing lists and check the EE regularly. then, you could also maybe get them from the south, I got the grip panels NP, not sure how the grip modules are controlled

Search P320 on GP. There was a guy there selling a small grip frame.

waiting on my threaded bbl carry still. picked up the x5 carry small grip in the mean time. feels sweet. i can't stand the standard grip on the p320. some kit on the way from IRG in the mean time though......

And wondering about LCI. Does it make Red Dot dirty, so constant cleaning is required ? Should barrel be replaced to non-LCI one ?
