First off, in case anyone is looking for a P320, Easthill Outdoors still has a few (as well as CZ Shadow 2's).
Now, I tried searching for an answer but couldn't find anything hoping someone here can help. I just purchased this firearm: https://www.easthilloutdoors.com/sig-sauer-p320-9mm-47-nitron-siglite.html and had a couple questions.
First, the description lists this as a "Compact Carry model" but from what I understood the Compact and the Carry were two different models. I asked the retailer for clarification but they weren't able to give a definitive answer other than to provide the item SKU: SIGLW320CA-9-BSS-TB. From what I understand, the "320CA" designates Carry (meaning shorter slide, full size grip). Any Sig experts able to clarify?
Second, can anyone explain to me why this model (which seems to come with a 3.9" barrel typically) comes with a 4.7" threaded barrel? Is it just because there is no 4.25" option so the smallest compatible one with a barrel length over 105mm was this one? Would love to find an option to shorten it to the legal minimum, as I don't need a threaded barrel and I think it looks silly with a 4.7" barrel on a 3.9" slide.
