Sig p320 issues

Can anyone share some knowledge or experience with the p320? I really like the pistol but I’d like to know if there are still concerns with the drop safety and accidental discharge issues.

I've owned one for quite awhile. I have thousands of rounds through it with no issues. It was sent in for the "drop safe" recall. I used it in 3 gun for 4 or 5 years with no issues or concerns. My only complaint with the 320 would be a little more muzzle flip than others I've shot.
 
I have a P320 and its been great. Prior to purchasing my firearm the P320 and P320 Legion I contacted MD Charlton, the Canadian importer and repair center, and they stated that the earlier model had the issues and Sig had a voluntary recall. All the new pistols have had this issue resolved - "Any P320 manufactured after 2018 will have the upgraded trigger from factory. The Legion series was not around pre upgrade so no need to worry."

I have had zero issues with mine.

I'd also suggest spending a bit more for the X-Series trigger versions. I have both and the flat X trigger makes a huge difference (to me at least)
 
I was very interested in the P320 until I started reading more and more about the accidental discharges, including occasions where the pistol had been updated. The fix is a lighter trigger so it doesn't have enough inertia to move?

I get that these are mechanical devices, but if the mass of the trigger is *that* critical, that's not something I am cool with.

Also a disconnector is added to the upgrade and all new pistols. After my older one was upgraded by MDC, the trigger feel and reset was much better. It compares equally to my newer RX version. I would guess, 3000+ before the older one was upgraded and probably another 2500 since. No issues at all.

Disconnector, as I understand it, doesn't allow out-of-battery firing...would that affect drop safety?
